Whitney Houston and Dana Bash
Whitney Elizabeth Houston was conceived into a musical family, 9 August 1993 in Newark New Jersey. Whitney is a cousin and daughter of the singer Dionne. The singer began her singing career in the choir of her church The New Hope Baptist Church in Newark in the early years of her childhood and by the age of 15 was singing backing vocals professionally along with her mother on Chaka Khans 1978 hit Im Every Woman. She went on to provide back vocals to Jermaine Jackson, Lou Rawls and her own mother. She also did a brief stint as models for the cover of Seventeen magazine in the year 1981. Her first gig was as a featured vocalist for the New York-based funk band Material in the year 1981. It was this quality of her vocal work together that brought the attention of major record companies, such as Arista who signed her in 1983, and with whom she was for the rest of her professional career. In 1985, Whitney Houston's debut album was the top-selling debut album of all time. It featured a number of hits like How Will I Know You Give Good Love Saving all My Love For you and The Greatest Love of All. It allowed her to achieve seven US chart-topping songs in succession which beat the Beatles. The album sold US 3,000,000 copies before it reached 25,000,000 copies globally. This brought her first of her 6 Grammy Awards. The Whitney sequel in 1987, featuring the singles Where Do Broken Hearts GO and I Wanna Dance With Somebody helped to expand on the popularity of her first album. It was, however it was the 1992 film The Bodyguard that solidified her status as one the world's most well-known artist. Though the movie was not well-received and neither did her performance, but the soundtrack of the film's Dolly Parton version I Will Always Love You was able to reach the number one spot on both the singles and album charts in the United States for months. The album sold over 44 million copies. Also in 1993 when she got married Bobby Brown, an ex-New Edition singer and father of her only child Bobbi Kristina Brown. In 1996, her consumption of the drug was well-documented.
Dana Bash or Dana Ruth Schwartz as she is more well-known as an American anchorwoman reporter who also serves as CNN's political reporter. Her prior work has included NBC, CBS and other notable channels. Her productions include the CNN's weekend shows including Evans & Novak Late Edition as well as Inside Politics. Bash was awarded a Women in Washington Power List award by Elle magazine. Her amazing anchoring and reporting skills are praised by many journalists. Additionally, she is a loving mother of her son, even though she graduated from George Washington University. She was married twice and is currently single. Bash is a fan of all her followers.
